Kris Jenner will never forget her late friend Nicole Brown Simpson.

During the third episode of the four-part Lifetime documentary series The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson, the reality star, 68, spoke about still grieving Nicole three decades later.

"You never get over losing a friend that way," Jenner, fighting back tears, said while speaking in a confessional.

"And I think I pack it down so far deep inside, you know? It's been 30 years," she added. "It's hard. [It's] one of the hardest days I've ever experienced."

Nicole was found murdered in 1994 outside the Brentwood, California, home she shared with O.J. Simpson. Her friend Ronald Goldman was also found dead at the residence.

The mother of two was 35 when she died. She and O.J. — who died earlier this year from cancer — had been married for seven years and shared a son named Justin and a daughter named Sydney.

Originally arrested for the murders, O.J. was later acquitted of all charges in what came to be known as the "Trial of the Century," during which Jenner's ex-husband, Robert Kardashian Sr., represented the star.

O.J. went on to be found liable in a 1997 civil suit related to the deaths, and later served jail time for separate crimes unrelated to the case.

For The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson, Lifetime interviewed more than 50 people, including Nicole's sisters, other family members and friends.

The four-part project, which coincides with the 30th anniversary of Nicole's murder on June 12, 1994, also includes previously unreleased archival footage.

Instead of exploring O.J. and his ties to the crime, the series looks at Nicole's perspective and experience with domestic violence. (The project falls under Lifetime's Stop Violence Against Women initiative.)

The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson will be available to stream on Lifetime.
