Kaia Gerber Got Matching Tattoos With Ayo Edebiri After She Hosted SNL

"Whatever she says, I do."

Co-stars that get tattooed together stay together. Kaia Gerber revealed that she and Ayo Edebiri are now bonded by matching ink and shared how the impromptu tattoos came to be.

“It's pretty fresh,” Gerber told E News! during the red carpet premiere of her new Apple TV+ miniseries, Palm Royale. “I went to see [Edebiri] on SNL, and she did such a wonderful job. The next day, I thought she would just stay in bed and kind of relax after what I know is a very intense week, but she was like, ‘We're getting tattoos.’"

Gerber didn't give Edebiri's suggestion a second thought, adding, "And whatever she says, I do." (She unfortunately did not reveal what tattoos she and Edebiri got together post-SNL.)

While the pair has been able to maintain a solid friendship since starring in Bottoms together, Gerber did take a moment to joke that she and The Bear actress are currently on the outs — apparently, Edebiri is "not speaking" with her because she and Bottoms co-star Rachel Sennot are appearing together on the upcoming series, SNL 1975, which will revisit the early days of Saturday Night Live.

"She is very upset," she said of Edebiri "I'm gonna have some reparations to do there."

Edebiri, meanwhile, is also back to work on The Bear. The show is currently filming its third and fourth (!) seasons after taking home multiple Emmy and Golden Globe Awards this past awards season.
