Travis Kelce's break from football could be music-filled.

As the Kansas City Chiefs enter their bye week, fans have speculated whether the team's tight end has international plans to visit Taylor Swift abroad as she kicks off the South America leg of her Eras Tour.

Should Kelce make an appearance at her concert, it will mark the first time the NFL star has shown his support for the pop star on her own turf since becoming a couple, like she's been showing her support for him at his games.

Swift made headlines the first time she attended one of Kelce's games, cheering the Chiefs on during their blowout victory against the Chicago Bears on Sept. 24 in Kansas City. The singer has since attended three other games this season, with her appearances even statistically impacting the tight end’s play.

The music icon also reportedly hosted a watch party at her New York City apartment on Nov. 5 as the Chiefs and Miami Dolphins faced off in Germany, with several Chiefs players' wives and girlfriends in attendance, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes.

Even Kelce's brother, Philadelphia Eagles player Jason Kelce, speculated whether Kelce would be taking a trip to South America as he hilariously questioned him during an episode of New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce about his week-off plans.

Here's what to know about the Kansas City Chiefs' bye week and what it could mean for Kelce.

All 32 teams in the NFL get one bye week per season. While teams play 17 regular-season games in a single season, this seven day stretch marks a period in which they don't play in any games. Although teams are technically "off" during this period, the time is used for coaches to reassess the game plan while players rest and recoup for the upcoming stretch of the season.

The Kansas City Chiefs' bye week is week 10 in the NFL schedule. After nine weeks, the team stands 7-2, coming fresh off a European victory in Germany where they defeated the Miami Dolphins 21-14 in Frankfurt on Nov. 5.

While it's unclear when exactly the Chiefs resume practice, they have at least one week from that game to relish in their win (following a "frustrating” loss against the Denver Broncos) and enjoy some time off.

That is, only until the Chiefs make their return to the gridiron for the back half of the NFL season. On Nov. 20, the Chiefs will take on the Philadelphia Eagles, marking the first time the reigning champs face the team since clinching the Super Bowl win (and the NFL championship title) over the Eagles in February. It will also be a rematch of what became known as the Kelce Bowl, when Travis and Jason became the first NFL brothers to face each other in the Super Bowl.

On a recent episode of New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, the brothers had a funny exchange about the Chiefs star’s upcoming plans during the weekend his team has off.

“Got anything you’re looking forward to going to?” Jason asked his younger brother, as they were reading an ad about Seat Geek tickets.

“Not really,” Kelce replied. “I might just say f--- it and just go somewhere nice, I don’t know. My skin’s getting real pale so I gotta go somewhere sunny.”

“Somewhere south?” Jason interjected while Travis added, “Closer to the equator.”

“South of the equator?” the Philadelphia Eagles center pried, to which his brother only responded with laughter.

Following the playful back-and-forth between the brothers, Travis revealed that he “never like[s] to plan things” on a bye week. “I’m not trying to go and f---ing be out and about if we’re out here losing,” he said, adding that the Chiefs were "fortunate" that they have a 7-2 record.
