Be treated like royalty at White Castle this Valentine’s Day.

On Feb. 14, the fast food restaurant will transform into a sit-down “fine-dining establishment” so customers can celebrate their love in style. Guests will be treated to hostess seating, table-side service and holiday decorations from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. as long as they make a reservation.

Reservations will be available starting Jan. 5 via OpenTable at more than 300 locations across the country.

White Castle has offered an annual Valentine’s Day dinner since 1991 and welcomes tens of thousands of people every year for its Feb. 14 festivities.

Similar to previous years, White Castle is also introducing a special meal combo for all the lovebirds out there. The love clutch collection will be available from Feb. 9 until Feb. 18 and the meal, served in a festive box, includes 10 sliders with cheese, 20 chicken rings and fries.

White Castle is also releasing some special Valentine's Day merchandise to celebrate the one-day transformation into “Love Castle,” including sunglasses, T-shirts, and even a silk robe.

Last year, the burger chain brought back their Valentine’s Day dine-in dinner service after taking a two-year hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic. Even during the break from table-side service, the chain found a way to make Valentine’s Day special.

In 2021, White Castle still offered V-Day reservations but it was for an outside event.

The restaurants turned their parking lots into old-fashioned drive-ins complete with carhop service. Customers with reservations pulled into a parking space, were greeted by a White Castle team member who took their order, and had their food delivered to them in their cars.

It seems like love is in the air all year-round at the fast food restaurant, considering husband and wife Jessica and Matt Fields first met after catching each others' eyes at a White Castle drive-thru more than 25 years ago.

Their romance started in the summer of 1998 when Jessica was a 17-year-old lifeguard and her friend stopped at White Castle on her way to start a shift. While the teens were sitting in the car, she noticed a guy looking in his rearview mirror at them.

"I thought he was cute. He had a Duke Blue Devils' baseball cap on … he just caught my eye," she told PEOPLE.

Her friend Kristen got out of the car and went to chat with Matt and she ended up giving him Jessica's phone number. After they had all ordered food, they pulled up their cars and chatted some more. Two days later, Matt called Jessica and their relationship flourished from there.

White Castle will always hold a special place in their hearts. "For some of the holidays, we will go pick up White Castle, usually for our anniversary," Jessica says.

And more often than not, on their anniversary, they will head to the same White Castle they met at. It's only about 15 minutes from where they now live in Brownsburg, Indiana.
