Wawa Zainal denies using Misya Mazlan for publicity
21 Mar - Wawa Zainal is denying the notion that she is jumping on the bandwagon when she decided to hire Misya Mazlan to be one of the faces of Wawa Scarves.
Speaking about Misya, who is the first wife of Aslam, who recently went viral after eloping to Thailand to marry Abby Abadi's eldest daughter Marissa Dania, Wawa said that her company has already inked a deal with Misya for a while now.
"We are not using her for publicity. Not at all. It was just a coincidence. But at the same time, we want to help her too. The other party already has a lot of work offers," she said.
Wawa also hopes that by being one of the faces of her product, Misya will be able to get more jobs in the future.
"We want her to stand out so that she will receive more offers after this. We are not using her situation to further promote our product," she added.
It was back in February that Wawa announced that her company has hired Misya to be the spokesperson of Wawa Scarves for three months.
