Pekin Ibrahim and Mona Allen welcome Merdeka Baby

1 Sep – Pekin Ibrahim and Mona Allen are now the proud parents of a Merdeka baby.

The couple welcomed their first child, a son, on the wee morning of the 65th Merdeka Day of 31 August at the Andorra Women & Children Hospital, as shared by Mona on social media.

"Praise be to God. Thank you for all of your prayers. Mummy and baby are both safe. Our Merdeka Baby was born at 2.39am earlier," she wrote.

This is the first baby for the couple, who tied the knot in 2018. Back in mid-August, they announced that they are welcoming a son via a gender reveal party.
