Nora Danish clarifies new hijabi style
2 Jul - After sharing several photos on social media of her wearing hijab, Nora Danish recently took to social media to address her new image, saying that covering herself made it easy for her to do her prayers while taking care of her ex-husband.
Speaking about it on TikTok, the actress stated, "As you all know, Nedim is now in hospital and is currently in recovery. However, I can't share details about his illness because it's too private."
"When I look after him in hospital, it's easier for me to wear clothes that I can do my prayers in. At the same time, I am also currently reading the Quran. It is easier for me to just wear something that covers my awrah," she said.
Nora also thanked everybody for their well wishes and prayers so that she will continue on wearing a hijab.
"I hope that your prayers, my mother and mine will be fulfilled by Him, God willing," she added.
Nora and Nedim, who tied the knot in 2017, ended their marriage on 19 June. The two have a son together aged six, as well as a son each from their previous marriages.
