Mimi Lana sparks questions following birthday post to Syafiq Kyle
25 Jun – Despite their cancelled wedding, Mimi Lana continues to confuse fans regarding her relationship with Syafiq Kyle as she took to social media to wish the actor a happy birthday.
On 23 June, the model-actress posted several photos and videos of her and Syafiq spending time together, from their public appearances to their private moments.
She posted, "Looking through my gallery on your special day hurts me to bits. How time flies yet you're still the one that I will always look up to in my worst and good days. Love will always be eternal for you even if our fate can be uncertain."
"Happiest birthday my Bintang and forever my twin @syafiqkylez," she added.
Many took to the comments, not to wish Syafiq a happy birthday but to urge the two to finally take the leap.
"I don't get it. Are you two together or not?" one netizen posted.
Another wrote, "[You] guys [are] so cute together, still my favourite local celebrity couple. Here's hoping that u guys someday will get back together.
Mimi and Syafiq were supposed to tie the knot in August last year, but decided to cancel the wedding a week prior. Both parties are still mum about the decision.
