KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 11 — After undergoing a surgery for scoliosis on Monday, singer Zamani was seen walking properly again.

This is after the 51-year-old singer himself reshared a clip of him walking in the hospital corridor on his Instagram yesterday evening.

The clip was initially shared by his wife, Nur Juliana Abd Rani via her Instagram story as well as by Malaysian TV personality, Datuk Aznil Nawawi earlier.

In the short clip, Zamani was seen in a hospital gown, walking down the corridor with a straightened posture while being assisted by a nurse.

The clip has been viewed over 200,000 times and has amassed over 25,000 likes with fans and fellow celebrities such as singers Lah Ahmad and Tomok, TV hostess, Sarimah Ibrahim as well as comedian, Zizan Razak, all wishing him well in the comments.

Zamani’s wife via her Instagram, had also expressed her gratitude to all parties who helped Zamani and also said that her husband had been discharged, just three days after his surgery.

“Zamani and I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the doctor, surgical team and all the staff at Sunway Medical Centre Velocity and to all who have been closely monitoring Zamani’s progress and those who prayed for him until today.

“We would also like to give thanks to Pak Nil (Aznil Nawawi), all the fans, the media and those who have donated to Zamani previously.

“All of your kind deeds and prayers are greatly appreciated. We will cherish this for the rest of our lives,” Juliana wrote in her post.

Juliana was also reported saying that Zamani’s recovery could take between two and six weeks. It will take between two to three months and for him to be able to work again.

Previously, Zamani was seen performing with a hunched back posture due to his worsening scoliosis condition.

The Gerimis Mengundang singer chose to undergo the surgery after he found it difficult to sleep as his bones pressed against his heart, making it hard for him to breathe.
