Lindsay Lohan is taking a trip down memory lane.

The actress, 38, opened up about returning to Walt Disney Studios last month to begin production on Freaky Friday 2 in an interview with Nightline.

"For me, it was when I went on to the Disney lot," Lohan said. "And being back on the Disney lot because that's not just Freaky Friday. For me, that's The Parent Trap. That's Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. That's Herbie.”

She continued, "It's so many moments for me. So when I got there, I kind of felt like this essence of a little kid again."

Lohan made her movie debut in 1998's The Parent Trap before starring in a string of Disney movies, including Life-Size (2000) and Get a Clue (2002). Additionally, there was 2003's Freaky Friday, plus 2004's Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen and 2005's Herbie: Fully Loaded.

The star teased the upcoming sequel in the interview, saying it’s going to be "much freakier than you would expect."

Lohan is returning to the movie after over 20 years with her costar Jamie Lee Curtis, 65, with whom she shares a close relationship.

"Jamie and I have stayed in touch over the years," the actress said. "So it's kind of, you know, they always say, like, when you have a best friend or someone who you are really close with, if you cannot see them for years and years, but when you see them again, it's like you never separated."

Last month, the two shared a fun Instagram post that showed them smiling and holding hands while sitting on the steps of the other star's trailer — a nod to the body-swap movie plot. The studio confirmed that the movie will be released in theaters in 2025.

Curtis and Lohan reprise their roles as mother-daughter duo Tess and Anna. Original cast members Mark Harmon, Chad Michael Murray, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Lucille Soong, Stephen Tobolowsky and Rosalind Chao will also return.
