Jennifer Lopez Sells Bel Air Mansion for About $34 Million — See Inside!

Lopez's California estate first hit the market in February, priced at $42.5 million

Jennifer Lopez has something new to celebrate.

According to a report from the Wall Street Journal on Monday, the singer's Bel Air mansion has found a new owner after selling at just under $34 million. The eight-acre estate was originally put on the market for $42.5 million, nearly six months after Lopez, 54, celebrated tying the knot with Ben Affleck with a ceremony in Georgia.

The more than 12,000 square feet home was listed with Brett Lawyer of Carolwood Estates. PEOPLE has reached out to Lawyer for confirmation of the sale price.

Carolwood Estates gave a close-up look at the mansion in a video previously shared on YouTube.

In the video, fans get a glimpse of the home's multiple amenities, including a chic library and sitting room, a private theater, and a guest house that can function as a gym or studio. It sits behind large brown wood gates and is surrounded by an array of elements of nature.

Its assortment of stone and wood is carried out throughout the home. Once inside, the main level also contains a living area with an elegant bar and fireplace and a view of the property's expansive terrace.

The chef's kitchen is just as grand, boasting two islands and the option to lounge in its built-in breakfast area or formal dining room.

Also found in the property is another separate guest cottage with a large motor court. The grounds have various ways to entertain guests with its 100-seat amphitheater, pagoda with a firepit, an entertainment pavilion with a full kitchen, a private lake with a sandy beach, and an outdoor shower.

Affleck, 51, spoke out about his marriage to Lopez during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show in April.

"Let me tell you something that's gonna upset you. Jennifer just eats whatever she wants. Whatever she wants. She eats cookies, ice cream, everything. She works out. I work out too, but I don't magically appear to be 20 years old, you know what I mean, with perfect skin and the whole thing," she said.
