Jay Chou is Dior's new global ambassador
14 Dec – French multinational luxury fashion house Dior has recently announced Jay Chou as their new global ambassador.
In a statement released on 12 December, the fashion house expressed, "Dior is pleased to announce [Jay Chou] as its new global ambassador for Dior fashion and men's collections by [Kim Jones]. Pictured here in a custom look, the multi-talented international icon, singer, songwriter, director and actor embodies the spirit and singularity of Dior style."
In another post where Jay can be seen wearing Kim Jones' custom suit while performing in Bangkok, it stated, "Driven by audacity and creativity, this alliance celebrates more than ever the special ties uniting Dior and culture in all its forms."
"A class act both off and onstage, [Jay Chou], our new global ambassador for Dior fashion, exudes effortless elegance, with the Mandopop artist embodying the spirit and singularity of the House's style in a custom suit by [Kim Jones]," it said in another post.
Said the Taiwanese multihyphenate, "I am very happy to be the global spokesperson of Dior. I am especially grateful to Dior artistic director Kim Jones for tailoring this concert in Thailand. In fact, I often wore Dior clothes in previous tour concerts. The unique design always attracts the public. I believe we will embark on a pleasant journey of cooperation."
