Danny Koo admits that his neck pain was a sign of a more serious condition

7 Feb - Danny Koo recently revealed that he never thought that his condition was serious when he went to the hospital after not being able to move his head normally.

The Malaysian singer and content creator told fans recently that the issue started when he was unable to turn his head to the right, and would feel numbness in his right hand when he did so. He also wasn't able to raise his hand or look up without feeling any pain.

However, upon being examined, it was confirmed that the C5 and C6 vertebrae of his spine were compressing his nerves.

"The doctor told me that it is a slipped disc, and warned me that I may have the tendency to have a stroke in the future if I do not take good care of my body," he said.

Danny assured, however, that he has started his physical therapy and changed his habits and posture to improve his situation.

He also stated that he will be careful to no longer hunch his back or lower his head to scroll on his mobile phone, and will spend more time to stretch his muscles every day.

At the same time, the singer hopes that his own experience will be a reminder for everybody to correct their body posture so not to end up like him.
