Coronation Street spoilers: Aadi injured by Dev in fight over Kelly, Summer’s 18th birthday bombshell
The Alahans are at war over Aadi’s plan to marry Kelly on Coronation Street next week. Plus, Summer’s 18th birthday trauma, plus Jenny gets passionate with Stephen.

Dev injures Aadi
Aadi and Kelly’s “secret engagement” is splashed all over the Gazette – but Dev, Maria and Gary are all in agreement that they’re too young to get married.

As Dev and Aadi row over Kelly’s background, the shop owner grabs his son and causes him to fall and hit his head. Telling Dev that he’s leaving for good, Aadi then storms out.
But Wednesday’s drama finds Asha begging her brother to give Dev another chance. As Aadi hands over his mum’s engagement ring to his dad, Dev’s relieved to think that the engagement is off. But are things really that simple?
Summer receives a birthday surprise
It’s Summer’s birthday and Billy presents her with a letter that her dad asked to be handed over when she reached 18. But Summer admits that she’s scared to read its contents.
Sensing that this isn’t all she’s worried about, Billy admits that the diabetic nurse called to confirm her eligibility for a glucose monitor. Summer is annoyed with both Billy and Aaron for going behind her back, but after plucking up the courage to read the letter from her dad, that attitude may well change…
Audrey tells her family about her suicide attempt
The party for the launch of Audrey’s salon features its fair share of shocks, when she reveals to son Stephen that she’s changed her mind about the trust fund.
After also revealing to the family that she recently tried to take her own life with an overdose, Audrey explains that she’s now made an ordinary will giving each of them an equal share. All that is apart from Stephen, who’s been kind of enough to say that he doesn’t need the cash. But there’s a sneaking suspicion that Stephen isn’t being honest about his financial affairs…
Jenny snogs Stephen
There’s turbulence in Jenny and Leo’s relationship, with the Rovers landlady claiming that she doesn’t want to stand in his way when it’s clear that he’s sour about remaining in Weatherfield.
After the two of them break up, Jenny rebounds into the arms of Stephen, whose interest has been piqued after learning that she’s the sole owner of the pub. But when Leo turns up with an engagement ring, is he about to catch Jenny enjoying a passionate kiss with Stephen in the back room?
Dylan admits to lying
Sean is telling Eileen that Dylan wants to move up north permanently – a desire that really hits home when the youngster admits that he lied about being bullied at school just so he could leave London behind.
Sean’s next move is to then speak to Violet about Dylan’s plea – but will she allow him to remain in Weatherfield?
Is Wendy interested in Ken?
Ken is left bemused when he invites Wendy to attend a musical with him, only to be given the brush-off.
When Ken then steps in to pay Wendy’s bill at the café, he assures her that he just wants for the two of them to be friends before suggesting that they go for a drink together. But will Wendy decide to give Ken a second chance?
Toyah issues Carla with a warning
There are concerns about Carla doing business with Nadeem Atallah, who’s notorious for his unethical working practices.
But when Toyah warns Carla that her reputation could be damaged, the Underworld boss is immovable and says the deal is done. Toyah then feeds the information back to Spider and tells him she wants to be a part of his plan to ambush Nadeem. But she’s left shocked when Spider tells her to back off.
