Bre Tiesi is shedding some light on what it's like being a part of Nick Cannon's blended family.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight at her son Legendary Love's second birthday party, Tiesi, who shares her toddler son with the dad of 12, praised Cannon for the way he's able to split his time with all of his kids.

"He manages it really well. I feel like that's why no one ever hears anything because we're all happy. We all make it work," Tiesi explained of their different schedules. "He's such a good person, genuinely, and he really cares and he does want to be there and he's never gonna blow anything off."

"It makes it easier when you're doing things because you know he's gonna make the effort and he's gonna show up," she added.

Cannon is dad to 12 kids — twins Morocco and Monroe, whom he shares with ex Mariah Carey; sons Golden Sagon and Rise Messiah Cannon and daughter Powerful Queen whom he shares with Brittany Bell; twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa; son Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi; and daughter Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha Cole.

He is also father to two children with Alyssa Scott — son Zen, who died at five months old in December 2021 after being diagnosed with brain cancer, and daughter Halo Marie Cannon, who was born in December 2022.

In May, Cannon spoke with PEOPLE about his Father's Day plans, noting that things at home can get overwhelming with so many little ones. But Cannon told PEOPLE that he's never once felt in over his head as a parent.

"I'm never overwhelmed, because overwhelmed means like almost when you can't handle it," he explained. "But I'm definitely overly energetic when it comes to all the energy that comes from my kids. I feel that daily. They drive me to thrive."

"It's definitely from the time I open my eyes to the time I get to close them at night, it's all about the kids the whole time," Cannon continued. "When you have 12, it's definitely they're the pulse of all that I do."

As for how he was planning to spend the holiday, the proud dad said it's one where he has to be on his toes.

"It's definitely one of those days where I got be on my Ps and Qs the entire day," Cannon admitted.

"It's supposed to be a day where I get to rest, but I want to give all my kids the opportunity to connect and give me gifts, and all that type of stuff. It's a fun day and I appreciate all the love that I get on that day."
