Billie Eilish continues to command the red carpet, bringing the crew socks and loafers trend to Palm Springs.

On Thursday, the 22-year-old singer and style chameleon made her first red carpet appearance of the year at the 2024 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards. She was accompanied by her brother and fellow musician Finneas O’Connell.

The “Ocean Eyes” singer wore a black, red, and gold headscarf tied to the back that complimented her two-toned black and red hair and shades with yellow lenses.

She also wore a long-sleeved white button-down top with a black tie and coordinating black bottoms. Eilish kept the black and white theme going as she rounded off her red carpet look with a black oversized bomber jacket, and black shoes with white socks visible.

The artist also carried a backpack with the Playboy bunny logo.

Her brother Finneas O’Connell kept it chic with an all-black outfit for the evening featuring a double-breasted suit, dress shoes, and glasses with black frames.

The siblings are the recipients of the Chairman's Award for their participation in Barbie.

The two worked together on the hit “What Was I Made for” featured in the film, which already has nine Golden Globes nominations, including a nod to Eilish and O'Connell's single.

While appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Eilish opened up about creating the cinematic ballad, which also earned five nominations at the upcoming 2024 Grammy Awards.

“It was so, actually, random how this came about,” she said of the song. “I remember there was a moment last year where Finneas came to me and was like, ‘Dude, would you want to make a song for the Barbie movie?'"

Eilish recalled feeling confused before eventually getting on a "friendly and casual and cool" phone call with Barbie director Greta Gerwig and Mark Ronson.

She then reflected on the resonation "What Was I Made For?" has had with audiences, especially in how it has “brought women together in this way that I feel like I haven’t felt part of like that and it made me feel really good," Eilish said. "And I also felt like it was bringing people together. It felt like we were all experiencing the life experience, you know?"

While still riding on the success of the song, Eilish is working on a new project — her upcoming third album.

"We are almost done with this new album. So, at some point, you will know more, but I’m not gonna say anything right now," she teased.
