3 Mar– Acha Septriasa recently admitted that she was touched by the kind gesture made by the Prime Minister's wife and politician Datin Seri Dr. Wan Azizah, whom she met last year prior to filming the biopic, "Anwar: The Untold Story".

The Indonesian actress, who shared her experience via video call at the press conference held recently, stated that the two met and spent some time at a hotel when she came to Malaysia for the movie.

"She brought me her homecooked meal. Better yet, she even gifted me with a tasbih bracelet. It's one of my most cherished gifts," she said.

In the same interview, Acha, who is currently in Australia, stated that she is honoured to be given the opportunity to portray Wan Azizah in the new movie.

"She also has a motherly aura and I am so inspired by the love between her and her husband, and how they both carry out their responsibilities to the country," she said. "Her leadership was also proven when she was able to replace her husband, thus becoming a mother and father as well as a leader at the same time."

The upcoming movie will be released in May.
