Variety to Host U.S. Filmmaking in France Event in Los Angeles
On Nov. 14, Variety will host “U.S. Filmmaking in France: The French Experience,” a half-day event in Los Angeles in partnership with the French Film Commission to showcase the benefits and incentives of producing films / TV shows in France.
The invite-only event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and features a series of conversations with directors, producers and executives who have recently filmed in France.

In addition to the conference, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with French professionals working on international productions. Attending studios, VFX studios, production service companies and commissioners include: Provence Studios, Studios de la Montjoie, TSF, V Studios, Atlas V, The Yard, Mac Guff, Firstep, Froggie Production, Peninsula, Gaumont Production Services, and Film France – CNC.
Air France will offer two roundtrip business class tickets to Paris to one of the attendees, to celebrate the company’s 90th anniversary.
