Lufya Omar tickled by speculations that she married an Arab man

12 Oct - Lufya Omar couldn't help but laugh after fans directed her to a video of a married couple, with many thinking that she is tying the knot with an Arab man.

On 10 October, the actress took to social media to share the clip, where the bride, who looked eerily like her, stepped out of the car to be greeted by the groom.

"Maybe a doppelganger," she posted, adding a laughing crying emoji. "A lot of people have been asking me if I have an Arab husband now. [Laugh Out Loud]."

Even friends like singers Heliza Helmi and Ezlynn took to the comments to express their surprise over the similarity she has with the bride, with the latter saying, "It isn't you, dear? You look similar."

"Even if it's true, why not? I am praying for your happiness in the world and the hereafter. Amen," she added.

It is noted that Lufya was married to husband Dr. Che Muhammad Hafiz back in 2016, though it ended in 2020. The two have a daughter together.
