I’m happy to report that the temperature has finally (if just for a moment) dropped in Los Angeles. Over the Halloween weekend, I was greeted by chilly winds and weather that had me digging through my pile of knits, only to discover that between closet cleanouts and moves I had lost a few staple pieces — including a style Kate Hudson wore last week.

When the actress took to Instagram a few days ago, she shared a festive martini and a perfect fall sweater. Her oversized turtleneck screamed autumn, from the squash color to the English ribbing, and made me crave weather I could bundle up in. So with this weekend’s weather granting that wish (and my closet in dire need of a timeless turtleneck) I set out to find styles similar to Hudson’s, and discovered seven sweaters you can grab today starting at just $18.

This is a loose sweater — a little less chunky than Hudson’s — and features ribbed details at the neck, sleeves, and hem. According to shoppers, this sweater is “just slightly oversized but not completely ridiculously large,” with another customer adding that it has a “comfortably, slouchy” vibe. They explained that that relaxed fit paired with the lightweight material makes it easy to style, writing that it “tucks well into higher-waisted jeans and pants,” unlike chunkier knits.
