K-pop singer-songwriter Nahee dies at 24

South Korean singer-songwriter Lim Nahee, better known by her stage name Nahee, died at the age of 24 on Wednesday.

Nahee’s death: No official statements have been released by her family, and the cause of her death is currently unknown. However, Nahee’s music label, Mun Hwa In, confirmed the news in a statement posted on Instagram.

“The singer-songwriter Nahee has left us and become a star in the sky,” the label wrote. “We are deeply sorry to bring you the sudden news, and we extend our condolences to all the fans who have supported and loved Nahee. We send our deepest condolences on the final journey of the deceased."

Nahee’s funeral is reportedly scheduled for Friday at the central funeral hall in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province.

Nahee signed with the agency Mun Hwa In as a singer-songwriter and producer in September 2020. In her short-lived 4-year career, she had accomplished 15 Korea Music Copyright Association songwriting and composing credits to her name.
