Dayo Wong says no sequel to "A Guilty Conscience"

17 Apr – Dayo Wong has recently dismissed the idea of a sequel to his hit movie, "A Guilty Conscience", which recently won Best Film at the Hong Kong Film Awards (HKFA).

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who was asked whether such a project will come to fruition, said that the director Jack Ng is not fond of doing sequels but is planning to helm a new movie with the original team.

"I saw 10 Hollywood movies this year and they are all sequels. And Jack's movie became a box office champion among Hong Kong films [by being original]," he said.

Meanwhile, Dayo also joked that despite being in several movies that turned out to be box office hits, life is still mediocre for him as he has only filmed four movies in the past six years.

"We have already completed 'The Last Dance' starring Michael Hui. I am looking forward to the release of the new film to satisfy the fans," he said.
