Zendaya Got Support from Tom Holland While Promoting “Challengers”: The Movie Was 'a Big Deal' to Her (Source)

Tom Holland was there for Zendaya as Challengers hit theaters.
A source close to the Euphoria star, 27, and Holland, 27, exclusively tells PEOPLE that Zendaya "was a little stressed" about her latest film being released and "worrying about how it would perform."
"Getting this role was a really big deal to her," the source explains. "She did insane prep for it and has been so involved with every aspect of the film and promotion."
"Her family’s been super supportive throughout all of it, and Tom of course. They’re very, very cute together," the source adds.

Holland has been supporting Zendaya privately and in public.
On Saturday, April 27, the Captain America: Civil War star posted the Challengers movie poster to his Instagram account.

"I know what I’m doing this weekend!" the English actor captioned the image. The poster features Zendaya's character Tashi wearing purple sunglasses, with Mike Faist and Josh O'Connor's characters reflected in the lenses playing tennis.
Zendaya commented on the post with an excited face emoji.
Holland also plugged the Luca Guadagnino-directed film in his Instagram Stories over the weekend of April 26 and 27. “CHALLENGERS IS OUT NOW!” he wrote in a slide featuring the Challengers trailer.

“LETS GOOOO!” he added, tagging Zendaya in the post.
A source also previously told PEOPLE that the Spider-Man costars have an "equal" and "supportive" relationship.
"They are proud of each other’s successes and totally supportive. This is a plus in their relationship making it equal,” the source said.
Challengers is in theaters now.
