Zoie Tam says acting decision will be made after childbirth
21 Sep – Zoie Tam has yet to make plans as to whether she will return to work after giving birth to her first child, as it would depend on her situation following childbirth.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress who will be giving birth to her baby at the end of the year, stated that she is still very much interested to continue her career as an actress, but that she would have to look at her physical condition as well as making sure that they [the production] could allocate the right timing for her.
"But my husband is very supportive of my work," she added.
Speaking of her husband, Zoie stated that Enrico, of whom she dated for eight years prior to their marriage, has always been a pragmatic person.
"He would always think about other people's future and the long-term plan. We would point out the good and bad in each other and hope to improve ourselves," she said.
On the other hand, Zoie also stated that she has been supporting her new drama "Ratman to the Rescue", which had just been broadcast despite not being able to participate in the promotional activities.
"I have been watching it at home. Sometimes I can feel the baby kicking when I was watching the action scenes," she said.
When mentioned that her husband once revealed that he wants to have five children with her, Zoie smiled and said, "That would depend on the situation. Let's see after I give birth to this one."
