Zendaya Praises Boyfriend Tom Holland's 'Beautiful Charisma': 'He's Got that Natural Gift'

"He's great at just talking to people, getting to know people," the 'Dune: Part Two' star said of her fellow-actor beau

Zendaya is giving boyfriend Tom Holland props for his charisma.

The Dune: Part Two actress said in a preview for Buzzfeed’s puppy interview that the Crowded Room star has lots of charm when it comes to “getting to know people” and doing interviews.

It all began when Zendaya, 27, was asked who from the Dune cast had the most rizz, which is defined as "romantic appeal or charm" by the Merriam-Webster dictionary.

The two-time Emmy winner joked that it was probably her before saying, “I don’t know. Rizz is short for charisma, right? Everybody’s kind of got their own.”

She continued, “I think someone who has beautiful charisma, not on the Dune cast, but personally works for me, is Mr. Tom Holland.”

Zendaya then went on to discuss the differences between herself and her more outgoing beau.

“I’m more shy and kind of quiet. So it takes a bit more to pull me out of my shell,” she explained. “But he’s great at just talking to people, getting to know people.”

She noted that Holland, 27, particularly excels at speaking on talk shows and in interviews, saying, “He’s just naturally very good at that.”

However, the Euphoria actress admitted the same could not be said for herself. “I’ve definitely had to pull it out of me a little bit,” she shared. “He’s got that natural gift.”

Holland and Zendaya had sparked romance rumors for years after starring alongside each other in Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016, before finally confirming their relationship in July 2021, after they were spotted kissing in a car.

And as for any rizz on his part, Holland himself joked to BuzzFeed in June 2023 when asked about it that he's currently "locked up" with his girlfriend — and happily.

"I'm happy and in love so I've got no need for rizz," the Uncharted star said. "I have no rizz whatsoever; I have limited rizz."

Holland also addressed the "secret to" his supposed rizz, explaining, "I need you to fall in love with me, really, for it to work."

"So, long game. Probably making a movie with each other — it definitely helps when the characters are falling in love with one another, you can sort of blur the lines a little bit," he joked.

While Zendaya and Holland have tried to keep their romance private, they have shown public support for each other numerous times both on social media and at public events.

The couple have been spotted together over the past year attending Usher's Las Vegas residency concert at Park MGM's Dolby Live in April 2023, and an NBA playoffs game the following month.

Holland previously gave some some insight into why he and Zendaya keep their relationship under wraps in a June 2023 interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

“Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of and we want to keep as sacred as possible," the actor explained. "We don’t think that we owe it to anyone; it’s our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers.”

Dune: Part Two is slated to premiere on March 1, 2024.
