Zendaya Departs From 'Tenniscore' Looks for the “Challengers” Los Angeles Premiere
The actress arrived to Los Angeles premiere in a black and pink Vera Wang gown — deviating from the theme of her press tour outfits
It's another win for Zendaya.
The actress, 27, hit the red carpet at the Los Angeles Challengers premiere on April 16 in another high-fashion outfit. Unlike her previous press tour looks though, this one did not pay homage to her tennis star character.
Zendaya wore a Vera Wang ballgown, which was composed of several intricate elements, including a black lace satin corset bodice. The edgy corset included boning that framed the lace fabric. The corset straps then rested on top of the baby pink satin full ballgown skirt. The skirt was layered with the pink satin fabric and a black tulle that peeked through the skirt's center slit.
The Emmy winner kept her accessories simple and only wore diamond stud earrings and one singular diamond ring.
Her hair, which was styled by Ursula Stephen, was in a loose high bun with just a few strands of hair let loose. She rocked a soft glam look that included bright, rosy pink cheeks that matched her lipgloss and highlighted her bright eyeshadow look.
Zendaya — along with the help of her stylist Law Roach — has truly aced her Challengers wardrobe from start to finish. At the Australia premiere in Sydney at the beginning of April, she hit the red carpet in a glittering green Loewe gown with a massive graphic of a tennis player.
She, as well as her costars Mike Faist and Josh O'Connor, have leaned on Loewe and creative director Jonathan Anderson for dressing while promoting the film, which makes perfect sense: Anderson also handled the costumes for the tennis film.
Zendaya wore Loewe again in for a photocall in Rome, choosing a fun spin on a tennis outfit. She rocked a silver look with a plunging neckline and pleated skirt. The best part of her outfit, though, was her heels. Her sky-high stilettos had a tennis ball accent on the heel.
Loewe has been known to craft a funky heel, and the tennis ball variety is no different. It is, however, a brand new option and custom for Zendaya.

Zendaya and Roach even looked to fashion icon Carrie Bradshaw (played by Sarah Jessica Parker) for inspiration in London. When the actress showed up for yet another photocall, she wore an archival Vivienne Westwood set with a flirty feather bunny tail, reminiscent of a look Carrie wore on Sex and the City. (Roach even pointed it out on his Instagram Stories.)
She accessorized with pointed white stilettos and simple jewelry. Of course not one to keep anything simple, Zendaya also debuted blonde bangs with this look. After going blonde at the beginning of this press tour, she changed things up yet again by rocking the clip-in bangs with this look.
