Zac Efron has experimented with various hairstyles over the years. He went blonde for a while, and his hair in High School Musical 2 looked like it was made of LEGO.
But now he's decided to jump on that 1980s revival trend and get himself that most tubular of haircuts: the mullet.
The actor took a trip to a barber's in Australia, where he is to hang out with his girlfriend and hopefully not be bothered by coronavirus, and they worked their magic. His mullet isn't as big as Pat Sharp's or your uncle's, but it's a start.
Attaboy, the Aussie barber shop, got in touch with Buzzfeed to say: "He couldn’t [have] been more of a humble, down to earth guy. It was organised with his personal trainer for him and Zac to pop in on his way to the airport.
"We're known for this hairstyle in South Australia and we were surprised when Zac mentioned that he wanted to keep the back long. Luke explained the mullet concept and he was all about it! He [gave] him the option of cutting it off if he didn't rate it – but was happy to rock the iconic style."
Recently, it was announced that Zac Efron had signed up to star in a remake of classic '80s comedy Three Men and a Baby, and a new adaptation of Stephen King's Firestarter.
