'You're Kidding': Snake Catcher Surprised as Venomous Snake Climbs on Car Windshield

An experienced snake catcher was surprised to find a venomous red-bellied black snake on a car windshield on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, on June 8.

Stuart McKenzie was called to help a couple who spotted a “black-colored snake” on their windscreen.

“You’re kidding, that’s unbelievable, it’s a red belly,” McKenzie says in the video. “It is the time I’ve seen a red belly black snake on a windshield.”

McKenzie quickly removed the snake after it attempted to hide under the bonnet.

“I’m glad that you guys didn’t crash,” McKenzie said to the people traveling in the car after he removed the snake. Credit: Stuart McKenzie via Storyful
