Younger fans are eager to find out what's next for Liza, Josh, Charles, and Kelsey. Here's what we know so far about the show's next chapter:

Younger is officially coming back for a season seven.

TV Land announced the news in late July of 2019. "Season after season, Younger has continued to reach new heights and build an incredibly loyal fan base,” Keith Cox, the president of development and production at TV Land, said of the announcement. “We love this talented and amazing cast and can’t wait to see what Darren has in store for season seven.”

And in February 2020, the streaming platform Paramount+ confirmed that it would be debuting the season. At this point it's unclear when the series will return for its next chapter, but we'll keep you posted. Per Paramount+, the season will feature 12 episodes, which will be “available at a soon to be announced date.” It will then air on TV Land “later this year.”

Season 7 is the show's final chapter.

What write Darren Star hinted at last fall, is confirmed to be true. “We are unofficially planning [Season 7] as a final season,” Star said in an interview with TV Line in September 2020. He also hinted that the pandemic could be featured as a storyline.

“The action of Younger sort of picks up where the last season left off, which was before the pandemic,” he explained. “But I do think we’re looking forward to incorporating it into the action as the season progresses.”
