Young Sheldon’s Montana Jordan and Emily Osment Talk First Impressions and Favorite Georgie/Mandy Moments

Emily Osment had her reservations about scene partner Montana Jordan when she first stepped foot on the set of Young Sheldon midway through Season 5.

“I think I asked like five different people if you were over 18 because you looked so young,” Osment tells Jordan in the video above. “I think I was 29 or 30 at the time… and that was new for me. I mean, usually, it goes the other way. Usually, I’m like, how old is this guy? So, it was refreshing.”

In Part 2 of TVLine’s wide-ranging interview with the Young Sheldon stars, Osment and Jordan reflect on their first impressions of each other, their favorite Georgie and Mandy moments (in the lead-up to their characters’ wedding on Thursday, April 11), and what it’ll be like to say goodbye to the Big Bang Theory prequel before they head off to headline their own, as-yet-untitled spinoff (which we discussed in Part 1).

“We’ve just been focusing on this show and giving it everything that it deserves going out in its final season,” Osment says. “We can only really focus on this right now because that’s what’s in front of us, and we’re really excited to get going on something new.”

Jordan, who’s been with the prequel since its 2017 premiere, also takes a moment to reflect on what it’ll be like to say goodbye to TV siblings Iain Armitage and Raegan Revord — aka Sheldon and Missy. “These past seven years, we’ve become real siblings in real life,” he says. “It’s the siblings I’ve always wanted.”
