New York's Erie County Covered by Heavy Snow

A long snow event dumped feet of snow on northwest parts of New York, accumulating more than two feet in parts of the Buffalo region, the National Weather Service (NWS) reported on Sunday, November 20.

Don Bell said he filmed this video on Saturday from Cheektowaga as a band of heavy snow moved over Erie County. Parts of Erie County measured more than a foot of snow by Sunday afternoon, whereas Cheektowaga reported measurements just above five inches.

The lake-effect snow was expected to continue through Sunday, falling in some parts at rates of three inches per hour, the NWS said. Credit: Don Bell via Storyful
