New York Jets Take Down Philadelphia Eagles To Record Setting Audience On Fox

UPDATED: The Philadelphia Eagles are undefeated no more, after the team lost to the New York Jets on Sunday.

About 26.09M people tuned in to watch that matchup on Fox, scoring the broadcaster the biggest audience of the week and of the NFL season. In fact, this game marks most-watched program on any network since the Super Bowl — up about half a million viewers from the previous record-setter, the Jets-Cowboys game in Week 2.

According to Fox, the audience was up about 3% from last year’s comparable window.

That makes two Kelce brothers pulling record audiences in Week 6 of the regular season. While Prime Video’s Thursday Night Football was lower ranked in terms of viewers, the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory over the Denver Broncos still managed quite the feat for Amazon.

With 13.8M viewers, the matchup was up 57% from last year’s comparable Thursday Night Football game (8.79M for Commanders vs. Bears). That’s by far the largest year-over-year jump to date and stands as the third most-watched TNF game ever on Prime Video.

Second place goes to ABC/ESPN’s Monday Night Football simulcast, which pulled in 19.64M viewers for the Chargers-Cowboys matchup. In third was NBC’s Sunday Night Football coverage of the Giants-Buffaloes game with 16.7M viewers.

Elsewhere, Fox drew 13.9M viewers for its earlier window, which telecast the Cleveland Browns win over the San Francisco 49ers. CBS had several regional games this week, averaging around 13.3M viewers across that game window.
