Yang Mi is doing fine following injury on set

12 Jul – Yang Mi's rep has recently released a statement to assure fans of the actress' well-being, after she was reported to have sustained an injury while filming the new season of the mainland reality show, "Great Escape".

As reported on Epoch Times, news of the actress being injured sparked last week, when she was said to have rushed onto an ambulance while covering her eyes during production.

After a long period of no news, her agency finally issued a statement, saying, "Yang Mi was accidentally injured during the recording of a programme, and was sent to the doctor for treatment as soon as possible. The doctor revealed that there was trauma at the corner of the eyelid and sutures were made. The treatment went smoothly."

"Fortunately, the inside of the eye was not injured. The condition is stable, and we will follow the doctor's order for recovery and treatment."

On the other hand, the team of the show also released an apology letter, saying that they will conduct a serious review and to enhance their safety protocols.
