‘XO, Kitty’ Season 2 Adds Three to Cast as Production Begins (EXCLUSIVE)
“XO, Kitty” Season 2 is kicking off production with the addition of three new cast members.
Variety has learned exclusively that Audrey Huynh (“AZNBBGRL, “Wyrm”), Sasha Bhasin (“Brave the Dark”), and Joshua Lee (“Gangnam Project”) have all joined the second season of the “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” spinoff series at Netflix. Production is now underway in Seoul.

Huynh will appear in the series regular role of Stella, while Bhasin and Lee will recur in the roles of Praveena and Jin respectively.
The three join series lead Anna Cathcart as well as cast members Minyeong Choi, Gia Kim, Sang Heon Lee, Anthony Keyvan, Regan Aliyah, and Jocelyn Shelfo.
The official logline for the series states, “Teen matchmaker Kitty Song Covey (Cathcart) thinks she knows everything there is to know about love. But when she moves halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she’ll soon realize that relationships are a lot more complicated when it’s your own heart on the line.”
Jessica O’Toole serves as writer, showrunner, and executive producer on “XO, Kitty.” Jenny Han, whose YA books served as the basis for the “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” film series, created “XO, Kitty” and serves as an executive producer, with Matt Kaplan of ACE Entertainment also executive producing. Awesomeness Studios produces.
“To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” originally debuted on Netflix in 2018, followed by the sequels “To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You” in 2020 and “To All the Boys: Always and Forever” in 2021. Season 1 of “XO, Kitty” followed in 2023.
