Wyoming First Responders Save Man and Dogs From Icy River

First responders in Big Piney, Wyoming, rescued a driver whose vehicle ended up in the icy Green River on December 27, bodycam footage released by the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office shows.

The incident took place on Sunday evening, when officers responding to a call found a pickup truck partially submerged in the river. Deputies and firefighters then helped the man out of the vehicle, as seen in this footage.

According to the sheriff’s office, volunteers with Tip Top Search and Rescue later saved two dogs that remained stuck in the truck’s cab. The driver was taken to a local hospital to be assessed. Credit: Sublette County Sheriff’s Office via Storyful
