Wu Jing injured legs filming new movie
18 Mar – Chinese action star Wu Jing was recently injured while filming his new movie, "The Climbers" (working title).
As reported on Kaixian, the actor was recently photographed at the Beijing international airport being pushed in a wheelchair while holding a pair of crutches, sparking speculations about a leg injury.
When asked about it recently, Wu's camp confirmed the news saying, "Wu already has issues with his knees. He sustained serious injuries while filming the movie."
The rep also added that Wu is also getting an emergency treatment abroad and will return to filming as soon as his treatment is completed.
"The Climbers" tells the story of the 1960 Chinese Mount Everest expedition - the first to successfully ascent it via the North Ridge.
The movie co-stars Jing Boran and Hu Ge.
