Corey Seager tied the game with a home run in the bottom of the ninth. Adolis García finished the job in the 11th.

No one saw this World Series matchup coming. That's part of the beauty of the game.

And the opener of this series was indeed pretty, particularly for the Texas Rangers.

The first game of the World Series was the first game this postseason to go to extra innings, thanks to a two-run home run from Corey Seager in the bottom of the ninth, which tied the game against the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-5.

Two innings later, Adolis García hit a walk-off home run to give the Rangers a 6-5 victory in the 11th inning.
