Wong Mei Ki cherishes being part of "Wife Interrupted"
16 Jan – Hong Kong actress Wong Mei Ki (also known as Meiki Wong) couldn't help but feel saddened that her TVB comeback drama, "Wife Interrupted" is ending soon.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who received praises for her performance in the drama, shared that the experience has been an unforgettable one.
"Every time I think of the time we spent together, I couldn't help but cry," she said.
Wong also admitted that another reason for her to be so emotional was because of the opportunity to greet the audience on television again after so long.
"I hope that I will have the opportunity to participate in more TV series this year," she said.
"Wife Interrupted" was Wong's first TVB drama in many years since 2006's "At Home With Love". It is noted that the actress left showbiz to pursue her studies in the late noughties before signing with HKTV in 2011.
In addition to acting and hosting, the actress revealed that she is also opening up a restaurant with a group of friends this year.
"Although I only invest a small amount of money, it is the first step into my dream. I have always wanted to open up a restaurant since I was a child," she said.
