Wong Jing denies postponing Jin Yong remake
29 Jan – Hong Kong director Wong Jing recently dismissed rumours that his new movie, "The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber" has halted production amid the Wuhan Coronavirus outbreak.
As reported on On CC, the filmmaker who spoke to the media recently shared that he is actually still in the pre-production phase of the said project, and has not made any decision when it comes to filming.
"The crew have not been affected for the time being, but I will pay close attention to the development of the situation. I will only make my decision then," he said.
The project, which will be another remake of the Jin Yong novel of the same name, will star Raymond Lam and Louis Koo.
On the other hand, it was also reported that several mainland productions have halted filming its new dramas, including the Zanilia Zhao comeback vehicle, "The Legend of Fei", and Yang Mi's "Thank You Doctor".
