Woman Shares Sweet Video Predicting Her Future Nuptials as a Young Girl

Kira Jade Nixon knew there was something special about her now husband Timmy Nixon when she was just 4 years old!

In a now viral Instagram video, a young Kira could be seen running around in a princess costume before her dad asked her, “Who”s gonna be [the] boy you're marrying?” Kira could then be heard saying, “I don’t have any, only Timmy!”

“Timmy?” he asked, to which she responded, “Timmy Mixon! Yeah!”

Kira wound up marrying Timmy and she Kira recently shared the throwback video to commemorate the couple's 10th wedding anniversary.

Kira tells PEOPLE that the couple's families have been connected for years and she first met Timmy at Sunday school.

"He went to sing at church, and I just thought he was the cutest boy in the entire world," she shares. "He had this cute little cowlick, and this cute little Bronx accent as a four year old."

Years later as adult, Kira moved away from the small town where they grew up, but the friends kept in touch. When she eventually moved back, they spotted each other again at church. Timmy says she immediately caught his eye and he offered to take her out to coffee.

A couple months after they began dating, Kira's mom suggested watching old home videos of her. That's when they discovered the footage of her crushing on Timmy. "All of our jaws dropped."

"I was like, 'Well, he's got to marry me now. You can't say no to that cute, four year old girl,' " Kira tells PEOPLE.

The pair got engaged in 2012 and tied the knot two years later in 2014, as seen in the Instagram video Kira shared, writing, “I married that Timmy Mixon! (Well, Nixon)." The newlyweds can be seen with family and friends who held sparklers in celebration of their union.

"I had a dream of being a performer and doing all these things, and I got to do all of them, but I also only wanted to be a stay at home mom and live on a farm," Kira tells PEOPLE. "And so I had done all the things I checked off all the things on my bucket list, and I was ready at that point to settle down. "

After their nuptials, the pair celebrated with a honeymoon in Thailand. She recalled thinking that she had completed her "bucket list," adding, "And I got my Timmy Nixon. That was number one."

Kira shared on Instagram that even though the pair had been “10 years married” she has spent “a whole lifetime of loving” Timmy.

Their video has been viewed over 3.1 million times with over 180K likes and hundreds of comments on Instagram. One person wrote, "I love how her excitement and energy levels are the same after 22 years... definitely a fairytale."

Another commented that their love story was “beyond sweet” and “something you’d only see in a movie.” “Soulmates are a real thing,” she added, to which Kira agreed.

She responded, “I will always shout it from the rooftops that true love really does still exist!"
