Woman Rides Horse Bareback Through Deep Snow

A woman in Leavenworth, Washington, rode her horse bareback through deep snow on Saturday, January 8.

This video shows professional farrier Katie Garrett riding her Tennessee walking horse, Nova, through snow-covered pasture. Garrett said four feet of snow had fallen within 48 hours and that she and her husband had been shovelling for days to make trails for their horses to walk through.

“There are no unknown hazards or harmful areas in the pasture,” Garrett told Storyful, explaining that both she and Nova were completely safe.
