Police officers shot and killed a gunman who opened fire near the San Antonio International Airport on April 15.

According to the San Antonio Police department, a man was travelling down a roadway near the airport terminal on the wrong side of the road when he was confronted by a police officer. The man then stopped the vehicle and started firing at both the police officer and in the direction of the terminal.
