Woman Brings Squidward to Life in Hilarious Halloween Costume
A Vancouver woman dressed up as the SpongeBob SquarePants character Squidward for a Halloween party, showing her complete makeup and costume transformation in a viral TikTok video.
This video shows Maya Zwang undergoing her full transformation into the surly clarinet-playing cartoon character, which took a total of 4-5 hours to complete, and attending a Halloween party accompanied by other Bikini Bottom friends like Mr Krabs and SpongeBob SquarePants.
Speaking to Storyful, Zwang said that she put her hair in buns and wore a bald cap filled with cotton pads to form the character’s bulging head shape. She then used latex to make Squidward’s droopy nose and mixed tissue with liquid latex to form the mouth.
