The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a Winter Weather Advisory as snow was developing across upstate New York early on January 23, following falls in several areas the day before.
Video posted by Ron Murphy on Sunday night shows heavy snow falling in Apalachin.
The snow will gradually diminish and transition to lake-effect snow showers on Monday, the NWS said.
The weather service in nearby Binghamton said snow would gradually “diminish”, but that “another messy system” was on the way for Wednesday. Credit: Ron Murphy via Storyful
