Winter Storm Dumps Heavy Snow on Northern Maine

A winter storm began dumping heavy snow across northern Maine on Wednesday morning, November 16, with forecasters expecting between 7 and 9 inches to fall before the storm ended that evening.

The National Weather Service (NWS) in Caribou warned that significant amounts of snow, sleet, and ice would make conditions dangerous for travel.
