Winter Storm Coats North Carolina Mountain Town in Snow

A winter storm left parts of North Carolina coated in several inches of snow on Friday, January 8.

The National Weather Service (NWS) forecast an accumulation of four to eight inches of snow in the North Carolina mountains. The NWS warned drivers of slick and snow-covered roads.
