Winter Storm Brings Prolonged Snowfall to Central Iowa

Heavy snow fell across Pella, Iowa, on Tuesday, December 29, leading to hazardous roads and travel conditions, the National Weather Service (NWS) warned.

The Iowa Department of Transportation warned of low visibility and snow-covered roads as accidents were being reported along highways in Des Moines.
