Windsor police have arrested a sixth person in connection to the murder investigation of a missing Windsor man.

Officers arrested a 21-year old woman Thursday morning near Parent Avenue and Ellis Street, Windsor police said Thursday afternoon. She faces a first-degree murder charge.

The woman is one of six charged with the death of 27-year-old Dalton Robert Bartnik. Bartnik was reported missing on the evening of May 24, two months after he was last seen.

An investigation by the Windsor Police Major Crimes Unit revealed that Bartnik was likely killed around April 1, however, his remains haven't been recovered.

All the arrests have come in the last several days.

Windsor police officials say one of the six people arrested was already in their custody on unrelated charges.

Dalton Bartnik was last seen in late March. Investigators have concluded Bartnik was murdered on or around April 1 although his remains still have not been recovered.
