Wildfire Burns in Wales During UK Heat Wave

Fire crews in Maesteg, in southern Wales, worked to contain a wildfire on Tuesday, July 19.

While the high temperature in Maesteg on Tuesday was about 25 degrees Celsius (78 Fahrenheit), other parts of the United Kingdom experienced record-setting heat of over 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit) on Tuesday, the Met Office said.
