Wildfire Burning in San Bernardino National Forest Prompts Evacuations

Fuelled by hot and dry weather, the Radford Fire burning in California’s San Bernardino National Forest grew to 917 acres on Tuesday, September 6.

Evacuation warnings and evacuation orders were issued by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s office for surrounding areas.

According to the US Forest Service the fire’s containment remained at two percent as of Tuesday evening, as firefighters worked through the night to battle the blaze.
